Light

To sign light, take your strong hand and raise it above and to the side of your head. Take your fingers from touching together to extended outward. The sign looks like a light is flicking on, spreading out its rays.

SIGN USAGE

Light is useful for turning on and off a room light. Use the light sign every time you turn on or turn off a light. Babies tend to find having some way to communicate their wishes to switch on a light a nice way to exercise a little control over their environment.

Hi, I love teaching sign to my granddaughter and she is so pleased to be able to communicate what she wants. When I first went on your web site there would always be a video to demonstrate the sign. I have had my computer fixed lately and since then I can’t get the video, only the drawing. Before I take it back can you tell me if you have stopped the video?
