Angel

To do the baby sign for angel, begin with both open, curved hands touching each corresponding shoulder, with palms facing down and fingers together. Then pivot the curved hands outward on either side while stretching the curve to become flat, open hands. Gently flap both hands in unison, as if you were and angel opening your wings.

Flash Card

Christmas is a most fascinating time for children, so be sure to teach the angel sign along with the other holiday signs, or when discussing stories about angels. Being able to communicate with your baby or toddler about Christmas will increase their delight in the season because it will eliminate the frustration of not being able to say what they want.
