Come

Come starts with both your hands extended with index fingers pointing forward. Then bending your arms at the elbow, pull your fingers in toward your body. The sign looks like you are gesturing a group of people to come over to you.

SIGN USAGE

Come is a useful sign when your baby gets a little more mobile and is starting to move around. Use the sign to signal to your baby that you want him to come over to where you are. And don't be surprised when your baby gets a little older and starts using the sign to summon you!

Flash Card

Come and go are a good pair to teach together. Because the signs have opposite meanings, understanding the meaning of one word helps your baby understand the meaning of the other.
