Is there a specific sign for “to say”? Or would it be similar to “talk”?

Hi, Mary. Yes, “say” is signed differently than “talk” or “chat”. To sign “say”, take your pointer or Number 1 finger (with the rest of the fingers closed in a fist), then touch your pointer to your chin and move it away from your face.
