The baby sign for banana looks like your index finger is a banana and you are peeling it. To start, take your non-dominant hand and make a fist, with your index finger pointing up toward the sky. With your dominant hand, make a peeling motion down the pointed finger, using your fingers all together.
Bananas are a favorite starter food for our baby. They are easy to eat and hold, as well as yummy! So make the banana sign when you give your baby a banana, and she will quickly catch on. Now, all you need to do is make sure you have plenty of bananas on hand!
Banana is one of the favorite foods of many babies. Food signs are easier to teach with the real food first. It is much more motivating for babies to learn the sign for actual food than for the picture on the flashcard. You can use the flash cards to supplement real-life experience.

Do you have other fruits such as “watermelon,” “kiwi,” “nectarine,” and “tangerines”?
ADMIN – Hi Toni,
We don’t have those additional fruit cards, except for “watermelon,” here: http://188.8.131.52/dictionary/w/watermelon/
Hi, I´m interested in the program but I have two questions:
. Do you have it in Spanish?
. Do you know where can I get the starter kit in Mexico City?
ADMIN – Hi Karina,
We don’t have the program in Spanish. But, I am sure there are Spanish Baby Signing programs available.
If you want an English kit, we do ship worldwide.
