To sign dolphin, place your non-dominant arm in front of you to represent a horizontal surface, or the water. Proceed to make a letter 'D' with your dominant hand and wave it up and down across your non-dominant arm, representing a dolphin swimming in the water.
Teach your baby to sign dolphin when you encounter this adorable sea creature while watching cartoons, reading storybooks, or playing marine games on your tablet, PC, or smartphone. You can also teach the sign when visiting a toy store or marine park.
Babies will soon develop interest in marine creatures. If you don’t live close to the ocean, you can always visit your local aquarium or use books to illustrate the concept.
