Fair is signed exactly like carnival: form both hands into a modified number 3 sign, where the thumb, index, and middle fingers on each hand are bent. Then have your hands take turns rotating in front of you, like the ferris wheel in motion in a carnival or fair.
Teach your baby or toddler the fair sign in anticipation of the actual event, or when you see it in your child's picture book or cartoons.
Build up your child's excitement in anticipation of visiting a carnival or fair. Teach this flash card in conjunction with all the other fun signs that will help your child communicate what they want during the event.
