To sign helmet, surround the top of your head with both open, curved hands, starting at the top and ending on either side of your temple.
SIGN USAGE
Teach your toddler the helmet sign when you introduce them to matters related to safety, such as riding a bike, or when firefighters and carpenters need head protection at their work. This sign is also useful if your baby uses a cranial helmet.
