Lemon is signed by taking your dominant hand and making the ASL letter sign for 'L'. Then hold your thumb to your cheek near the the mouth & chin, and twist the 'L' hand up and down as you make a sour face.
Teach your baby the lemon sign when you are asking him or her which fruit or juice he or she would like to have. As your baby advances, you can add more fruit signs to your baby's selection.
Want to have the ultimate baby video? Have your baby taste lemon for the first time. Teaching lemon should be a breeze due to the unique tart flavor that it imparts and how babies react to it.
