Peanut Butter
To sign peanut butter, place the thumb of your dominant hand in front of your mouth, and pull it out and down (which is actually the sign for peanut). Follow this motion with the sign for butter, which is a spreading motion over your non-dominant hand using your middle and index fingers.
SIGN USAGE
We use peanut butter when our toddlers are starting to taste a variety of foods. Practice this sign during snack time.

Related signs might be cracker, cheese, jelly. My granddaughter loves the goldfish crackers; also the cheese and peanut butter crackers. She’s not eating jelly yet, but it goes with peanut butter.
