The president sign looks like you are running your hands along the corners of an old fashioned tri-corner hat.
Start with your two hands open with fingers splayed in front of your forehead, then bring your fingers together on each hand in a bent letter 'O' form, while dipping your hands slightly down then up at an angle on either side of your head. It is like you are holding a banner up to signal your president's appearance.
If you are a news junkie, you can teach your baby the president sign every time you see the president on the news, in the papers, or in a magazine.
While this flash card contains the American president, if you live outside the United States, you can print out the card and substitute a picture of your own head of state. While strictly the sign is just for a president, you can also use the sign to stand for prime minister, or any other title you give to your national head of state.
