To sign rain, open up both hands, and starting with your hands above your head, bring them down. Your fingers are like the raindrops falling down.

Get some rain boots and a raincoat, and head outside to let your baby learn more about the rain.

I’ve got a non verbal autistic grandson. He’s 17 now and I’m always trying to learn new signs to talk to him
Are there any books that deal with the easier signs I can get to help me out?

You might find that using a signing board is easier than simplified signing. Give it a try.
