Scarf is a natural sign. To sign scarf, hold out your dominant hand slightly bent with fingers together, and mimic wrapping a scarf around your neck, starting from the opposite side, around your nape, and down in front of your neck on the side of your dominant arm, with a single motion.
Teach your toddler the scarf sign when introducing your little one to clothing designed for cold weather.
Use this flash card in winter, when your toddler begins to understand the importance of protective gear for inclement weather.
