The scooter sign is iconic. To sign scooter, use both hands and lay them out flat side by side. With your non-dominant hand flat and steady, take your adjacent dominant hand and flap it a few times inward, mimicking the mobile foot kicking on the ground in order to propel the scooter forward as the other foot remains steady on the board.
