Wait
To sign wait, hold up both your open hands, palms facing up and fingers spread out Then wiggle your fingers as you simultaneously make circular movements with both open hands, up and away a short distance, then down and toward your body again. Repeat the sequence.

I was teaching my daughter little things to help her understand and communicate when she was 6-9 months old. Now she’s 3 and is very hyper active and has a hard time listening to me, so when I sign to her, she stops to look and see what I am doing first, so now she’s getting better with listening and learning sign language, too.
I always wondered if this is the same sign one uses to command someone to wait. I want to tell my baby to hang on for awhile, how do I sign to communicate that? Thank you!
