To sign yawn, form both hands into a bent letter V. Then while holding up your non-dominant, bent 'V' hand in front of your chin, with the palm side facing you, take your dominant bent 'V' hand and form a circle in front of your face while straightening then bending your index and middle fingers again, before finally resting your hand onto your other hand.
Teach your baby or toddler the yawn sign when you or they start yawning. It is said that yawning is a socially mirrored behavior, so teaching this sign is easy as the action tends to repeat in a group of people!
