Together

To sign together, we begin by making fists with both hands and bringing them together. Once the hands are together meeting fist to fist, we do little circles as if we were mixing cake batter.

Flash Card

We use the sign for together to teach our babies organizational patterns like pairs. We love to use Lego and have our toddlers put together two of the same pieces.

My 2-year old son frequently makes the same sign where he holds the inside of his wrist together, has his fingers closed like a fist, and rolls his wrists together so his knuckles touch. He usually does this when we are in his rocking chair and it’s nite-nite time. I cannot find an exact sample of this sign anywhere! He is starting to use words but he still frequently signs to communicate. Thank you!

    Hi…

The sign “together” seems very similar to the sign for “with”…only for “with”…the fists aren’t rotated. 🙂
