Curve is a natural sign. Take your flat, dominant hand, then bend it slightly as it turns an imaginary curve in front of you.
Everything in our day-to-day lives can be used as a teaching example for shapes for our babies and toddlers. When you teach the curve sign , be sure to point to objects that show a curve. This is an abstract concept applicable to many, many things, but in time, your toddler will see the similarities among curved objects: from their toys, to furniture, to food items and other things outside the home.
This is a useful flash card taught best in conjunction with the everyday curved objects your toddler encounters.
