To sign embarrassed, first sign red with your dominant index finger touching your lips, then make a sign suggesting your cheeks are blushing: form each hand into the open number 5 sign, and have them take turns brushing up the cheeks of your face.
Teach your baby or toddler the embarrassed sign when they are embarrassed about a blooper or minor spillage. Then quickly reassure them that it is okay because accidents happen from time to time.
This is a useful flash card taught best in conjunction with the other emotion flash cards. It is handy to equip your toddler with signs that you can use in public places, to avoid the potential embarrassment that saying something out loud can cause.
