To sign end, hold out your non-dominant hand flat and straight. Then take your flat, dominant hand and slice it downward through the air, at an angle perpendicular to your non-dominant hand resting in place. Your dominant hand will barely touch the finger tips of your non-dominant hand as it slices down perpendicularly.
It is like you are chopping something off or cutting it short.
Teach your baby or toddler the end sign when the movie or cartoon you are watching together is ending, or when a game, holiday, or activity is about to end.
This is a useful flash card taught best in conjunction with its contrast, start or begin.
