Forget is signed by swiping your dominant hand across your forehead. From an open, flat hand on the far side of your forehead, swipe your hand across towards the dominant side of your body, as the flat hand turns into a bent hand, ending a few inches off the side of your temple.
Teach your toddler the forget sign when you or they have actually forgotten something! Forgetting the object you came searching for, or the next activity you wanted to do, can be frustrating and lead to tantrums. Teaching this sign, with a bit of light humor, can help your toddler understand early on that all will be well once you remember what you once forgot.
Teach your toddler this sign in conjunction with other flash cards for everyday objects or regular activities.
