To sign hill, take your open palm, facing the ground. Starting at torso level, run your hand flat in front of you a short distance, then rise up and go down and run flat again, as if making the shape of a hill in front of you. If you choose to sign with both open hands, simply run them up an angle in unison, indicating the slope of a hill.
Use the hill flash card when you are teaching nursery rhymes like, ”Jack & Jill”. Use the sign for hill as well when you're out taking a nice countryside walk or a road trip with your baby. It's also a good opportunity to teach your baby the other signs pertaining to nature, or the shapes and sizes of land formations and bodies of water.
Use the hill flash card when you are teaching the nursery rhyme, ”Jack & Jill”.
