To sign season, hold up your non-dominant hand flat and upright, with all fingers together. Then, forming your dominant hand into the ASL letter S sign, revolve it once beside your upright palm representing a clock, and end by sticking your fist to the palm. This symbolizes the seasons of the year or the passing of time (where the revolution of your fist around your 'clock' palm symbolizes the hands of the clock ticking away).
Teach your toddler the season sign when they are old enough to notice how nature changes with the passing of spring, summer, fall, and winter.
This is a useful flash card taught best in conjunction with other nature, climate, and season flash cards.
