Side
To sign side, simply take your flat, dominant hand and slide it down a foot or two from shoulder level to hip level.
SIGN USAGE
Teach your toddler the side sign when you want them to move aside to make way for sudden, heavy foot traffic in the playground, mall, or park. Teach it as well when they are posing for a photo and you want them to turn to their side for a profile shot.
