To sign stage, hold your non-dominant forearm horizontally in front of your body, your hand flat and facing down. Then form your dominant hand into the ASL letter S sign, and starting from the crook of your non-dominant inner elbow, slide your 'S' fist sideways till it reaches your finger tips.
The sign is indicating the length of a stage.
Teach your baby or toddler the stage sign when you are watching a stage performance, whether it is a clown performing on a carnival stage, or a magician entertaining the kids at a children's birthday party.
