Village is signed exactly like city, community, and town: take both slightly curved flat hands, then have them touch at the fingertips while facing opposite directions. Switch both hands' positions while twisting them back and forth, releasing and touching the fingertips a couple of times.
Teach your baby or toddler the village sign when you are driving by or visiting friends or family living in another village. Teach it as well when you encounter 'village' in your child's cartoons or story book.
As the saying goes, "It takes a village to raise a child." Teach your child this sign in the context of community or neighborhood friendships and activities that serve to help people get to know each other, share their talents, skills, and resources, and enjoy fellowship.
