Sled

Sled is a combo sign. We first sign snow by wiggling the fingers of both hands in a downward, swaying motion, followed by having our dominant hand travel on top of our non-dominant hand, mimicking a sled going downhill. Note that your non-dominant hand needs to be in front of you, with palm facing down.

SIGN USAGE

This is a favorite winter sign. We introduce our toddlers to the baby sign for sled as soon as we have an opportunity to go play in the snow.
